Acquired Consulting

I am pleased to announce my association with Pat Petersen.  She and I have worked together at ASTD and recently agreed to share our strengths in an effort to provide our customers with a larger menu for their organization.

Bio

Ms. Petersen has provided Human Resource and Organization Development for over twenty years, as an independent consultant.  Her emphasis is on the "human" factor in organizations with a strong focus on leadership assessment, development, and executive coaching; team development and facilitation; and managing organizational change. 

Ms. Petersen’s experience encompasses many industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, government, telecommunications, and not-for-profits.  Ms. Petersen is also the creator of a successful board game, Games Teams Play®, which is in use by numerous organizations around the world. She is also the designer and facilitator of The Leadership Connection©, six-month journey for local corporate leaders to enhance their ability to increase organizational effectiveness, which has been offered through the Davis Center for Leadership at Jacksonville University. Prior to establishing her consulting practice, she held internal consulting position in a number of industries including education, health care and customer service.

Ms. Petersen holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, an MS in Education and Health Services, and an MBA from the University of North Florida.   She has extensive experience in education, having held faculty positions at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Columbus College in Georgia, Florida Community College at Jacksonville, and Nova University.  She is also a former faculty member of the Masters in Human Resources Development program at Webster University.  She has held many positions in ASTD on the National, Regional, and Local level for many years and is actively involved in the OD Network on National and Local level.
